INTRODUCTION

Nepko is the first publishing house of Mongolia with over 10 years of experience. Since its founding in 2006, NEPKO has become a national brand; a symbol of enlightenment and knowledge; and guide to universal education.

Not only did NEPKO become one of the major representatives of national publishing, it is also a pioneer in it’s sector by introducing modern standards and delivering some of the world’s best works in it’s native language. Over the years we have published a wide range of books from scientific and cognitive to dictionaries, Mongolian and international classics and contemporary fictions – all of which with official copyrights. Just to name a few, we have translated and published Britannica Concise Encyclopedia and the book series Light of Agnist in 2011; World Atlas, Story of Art by E.H.Gombrich, Collins Dictionaries and Britannica Visual Dictionaries in 5 different languages in 2012; Science by DK and Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson in 2013; Great Paintings and Great Design by DK, world known bestseller Why Nations Fail by Daron Acemoglu, and Wild Swan by Jung Chang in 2014; Britannica English-Mongolian Visual Dictionary and Great Buildings in 2015; Complete Home Medical Guide by British Medical Association and both Collins-Nepko MongolianEnglish and English-Mongolian Dictionaries in 2017 and History of Mongolia by Baabar, Almanac of World History by National Geographic and Selected works of Byambyn Rinchen in 2018. We have collaborated with famous Mongolian writers, translators, and scholars and have been highly appreciated by our readers.

Nepko publishing attends international book fairs annually and forms excellent associations with distinguished companies. Many remarkable works with qualitative contents were published in Mongolian language in collaboration with our international partners such as Encyclopædia Britannica, Inc and National Geographic from US; Dorling Kindersley, Collins Cobuild, Ivy Press from UK; and QA from Canada.

Recently, we have published The Wealth of Nations by Adam Smith, The Art of Thinking Clearly, Why Businessmen Need Philosophy by Ayn Rand Institute, Governance by Oxford University Press, Justice, and Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese Literature as well as Men without Women by Haruki Murakami.
